Feel more like dinner and cocktails with a DJ? Head up to M’ADAM on the 20th floor for an unforgettable dinner with a view. It’s the perfect spot for a night out. We visited last month and absolutely loved the menu, which features delicious dishes with an Asian twist, paired with creative cocktails.

The Amsterdam Winter Terrace – The Biggest Outdoor Terrace This November

From November 1st to 24th, 2024, the Amsterdam Winter Terrace is back! This year, it’s moving to an exciting new location: the Centrale Markthal. For 4 weekends, you can enjoy delicious food, tasty drinks, and a lively atmosphere brought to you by some of Amsterdam’s best restaurants and entertainers. Get your tickets here!

ICE Amsterdam Ice Skating Rink 2024/2025 Returns to Museumplein!

The iconic ICE Amsterdam ice skating rink returns to Museumplein for the 2024/2025 season, bringing the holiday magic back to the heart of Amsterdam! This cherished winter activity, adored by locals and visitors alike, is set to rejoin the city’s festive traditions after its missed appearance last year. Starting from November 17, 2024, the ICE Amsterdam rink will be open, allowing everyone to enjoy ice skating in the picturesque setting of Museumplein. The Christmas Market at ICE Village will also make its return from December 12 to 26, featuring unique gift stalls and delicious holiday treats, making it a perfect spot for festive shopping and cozy winter fun.

Amsterdam Light Festival – November 2024 until January 2025

Don’t miss out on one of Amsterdam’s most magical winter traditions! The Amsterdam Light Festival returns for its 13th edition from 28 November 2024 to 19 January 2025, transforming the city into a glowing wonderland. This year’s theme, Rituals, celebrates light as a symbol of unity and transformation, featuring 27 stunning light artworks by artists from around the globe. 

The best way to experience the festival? From the water! Book a light festival boat tour and enjoy the artworks from the iconic Amsterdam canals.

Cinema Culinair – November 19 until December 1

Yeey, Cinema Culinair is back in Amsterdam! Some films aren’t just meant to be watched—they’re meant to be tasted! At Cinema Culinair, you can watch movies like while enjoying the same dishes you see on screen, perfectly timed with each scene.

This time, we’re excited for a special Chocolat brunch! Watch the 2000 classic Chocolat while savoring a delicious brunch with both savory and sweet courses, including 9 chocolate-themed tastings. Each bite is served just as it appears in the movie! 

Tickets are still available for November 23 and 24 at 12:00 at Tolhuistuin (€66 per person).

Unique Winter Dinner at a Fort on Pampus Island

Guys, this is a must for your Amsterdam bucket list! You can enjoy a magical evening on an uninhabited fortress island with Winterlicht, happening every Friday and Saturday in November and December. They’ll bring you by boat to the beautiful Pampus Island. When you arrive, explore the historic fort with its dark hallways, impressive domes, and secret spaces. Start your evening with tasty appetizers served in the charming seating areas inside the fort, all beautifully lit up. There’s even a cool wine bar inside!
