Prinsengracht Concert – August 24

Amsterdam’s annual and very popular classical event is returning on August 24th! It’s a magical experience where you can enjoy beautiful music while floating on boats or from the canal side. The concert is free to attend, so make sure to arrive early to grab a good spot!

De Parade – August 16 – Sept 1

The only traveling theater festival in the world will be back in Amsterdam! Settle down at one of the typical Parade terraces and be surprised by the artists passing by or visit one of the theater tents. Everyday there are different shows and there are also some food trucks!

Lucha Libre – August 24

Get ready to experience the dynamic energy of Colombian DJ Juan Quiroga. Known for his seamless blend of diverse rhythms and electronic beats, he’ll make the dance floor come alive. Before his main set, skilled local DJs will warm up the crowd, creating just the right vibe for an unforgettable night.

Pluk de Nacht Open Air Movie Festival – August 21 until 31

Festival ground with a bar, food trucks all sorts of games and of course open air movie nights. Opens daily at 18:00 at the Stenen Hoofd. Check out the program here.

Jiggy X Bitterzoet – August 24

The Maker Market – August 24 & 25

A market filled with handmade jewelry, clothing, art prints, and organic treats. Enjoy live music, workshops, and meet the creators behind the products. Sunset Movie Nights at Eye Museum

Relax with a drink and enjoy a warm summer evening with a special outdoor film screening at the park by the Eye Museum. Each movie begins at sunset around 21:15. Tickets are €7.50, be sure to reserve in advance. Seating and headphones are provided, and there’s food and drink available on-site. More info.

On the Roof – HAN & Sinan (Family Concert) – August 25

Spend your Sunday afternoon surrounded by sounds at a rooftop concert in Amsterdam-Noord. This time you can experience the intimate and enchanting performance of HAN & Sinan. Han van ’t Land, an Amsterdam-based musician, blends folk, reggae, and world rhythms with tribal influences, creating a vibrant musical journey.

Canal Festival – August 23 until September 1
