Kwaku Down Town Summerfestival – September 6
The festival where you can enjoy authentic Caribbean vibes and the Surinamese kitchen with the best rotis, bara’s, moksi and shaved ice!

Tapt Festival – September 12 & 13
TAPT Festival is back! For its 10th anniversary edition, Amsterdam West transforms into one big playground of drinks, food, music and fun. Enjoy craft beers, wines, cocktails and street food, while dancing to DJs and live acts.
And that’s not all: spin the prize wheel, join the TAPT pub crawl, sing your heart out at Café De Play karaoke, go wild at Disco Bingo XXL, Silent Disco XXL or even the legendary WC-rave. Speed date, celebrate your own party at TAPT, or just relax in the grass with friends!

Art of Taste Japan & Korean Food Festival – September 12–14

Concertgebouw OPEN – September 6
The Concertgebouw once again throws its doors wide open for an afternoon full of music. Wander through the halls, foyers and corridors and enjoy free mini concerts of all kinds. There are also kids’ workshops, take a photo on the famous conductor’s staircase, and prizes to win. Admission is free, but you do need to reserve a ticket with your entry time. After that, you can stay as long as you like.A day full of mini concerts, tours and family activities.

West Beach Film Festival – September 17–21
The 22nd edition of the West Beach Film Festival brings five days of open-air cinema, art, music, markets, pop-up restaurants and performances. This year’s theme, “Habitat,” explores how we find our place in the world, the city, nature or a new neighborhood.

Balanzs Free Outdoor Yoga – Every Sunday at 10:30
Start your Sunday with a free outdoor yoga class in Oosterpark, hosted by the Kindfulness Foundation. Bring a mat or towel and water. No sign-up needed, everyone’s welcome. Weather updates an hour before class via @Balanzs on social media.
